July 29 – August 6, 2026

This 8 night, 9 day retreat offers a perfect mix of yoga, adventure, nature, and culture along with time to rest and relax. You’ll explore some of Scotland’s stunning landscapes, discover the iconic city of Edinburgh with a stop at the Castle, visit an animal sanctuary, relax with yoga, bodywork, and a sound bath, and much more. From outdoor excursions to moments of cultural immersion, this retreat captures the magic of Scotland in a variety of ways, giving you a well-rounded taste of what makes this area of Scotland so special.

Location & Accommodations

We will be staying at Rachel’s Farm, a retreat center, featuring a collection of beautifully renovated farmhouses, cottages, barns, and stables. Each space has been thoughtfully designed by the property owners, blending the natural beauty of the Scottish countryside with modern comforts and offering the perfect balance between rustic charm and the luxury you deserve on a retreat. The retreat is about a 45-minute drive from Glasgow and an hour from Edinburgh. Rachel’s Farm is surrounded by the Trossachs, known for its stunning glens, hills, and lochs.

All rooms feature ensuite bathrooms (with the exception of two that share a bathroom), air conditioning, and lovely views of the farm’s gardens and landscapes. The property is designed for relaxation and activity. There are multiple hot tubs and cold-water plunge barrels, as well as walking paths and peaceful spots to read, journal, or simply take in the serene surroundings. You can also set out on longer hikes or bike rides from the property.

Rachel’s Farm creates the ideal backdrop for yoga and self-care, allowing you to fully unwind while enjoying the beauty of the Scottish countryside.

  • Curated Yoga Classes

There will be up to two yoga classes a day (morning and late afternoon). We will have exclusive use of a fully equipped, 1,000-square-foot, dedicated indoor yoga space with high-quality yoga mats, blocks, bolsters, straps, blankets, and weighted lavender eye pillows. Classes will include a variety of styles, such as Vinyasa Flow, Restorative, Yin, and Mini Workshops. All classes are optional and will be taught by either Savonn or Kari. Weather depending, we may also have a few outdoor practices.

  • Omnivore Meals Prepared by Private Chef

Starting with a welcome dinner on our first night and concluding with breakfast on our last day, there will be healthy meals to enjoy together. Most days include breakfast, lunch, and dinner. However, lunch is on your own during our Edinburgh excursion day. Fresh water, tea, coffee, and fresh fruit are available throughout our stay.

  • A Visit to Harmony Fields

Nestled within Rachel’s Farm, Harmony Fields is an independently run animal sanctuary and refuge that cares for a diverse array of rescued animals, including Shetland ponies, goats, pigs, sheep, tortoises, and horses. During our visit, you’ll participate in a special mindfulness session with the animals. The sanctuary’s mission is to create healing interactions between humans and animals, offering guests a chance to experience the calming benefits of spending time with these gentle creatures in a serene, natural environment.

  • Day Hike Up Ben A’an

Embark on a scenic day hike up Ben A’an, one of Scotland’s most iconic hills, located in the heart of the Trossachs within Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. This relatively short but rewarding hike offers stunning panoramic views of Loch Katrine and the surrounding landscapes. As you ascend the well-maintained trail, you’ll experience the beauty of wooded glens and heather-covered hillsides before reaching the summit, where you’ll be greeted by breathtaking vistas.

  • Day Trip to Edinburgh Castle With Time to Explore the City of Edinburgh

Take a guided tour of Edinburgh Castle, exploring its rich history and breathtaking views. Afterward, explore the city of Edinburgh at your own pace, strolling through the shops, restaurants, and historic landmarks along the Royal Mile and Cowgate.

  • Sound Bath Session

As part of our retreat, enjoy a deeply relaxing two-hour sound bath led by a local instructor. This immersive experience uses the soothing vibrations of crystal bowls, gongs, and other instruments to help promote deep relaxation.

Optional Activities

Bodywork. There will be professional massage therapists on site. Each session is thoughtfully personalized to address your specific needs.

Gin Tasting and Making. Enjoy a unique experience where you’ll not only sample a variety of gins but also get the chance to craft your own custom blend. You’ll learn about the art of gin making, experiment with different botanicals, and create your personalized small bottle to take home as a souvenir. This hands-on experience is perfect for both gin enthusiasts and those new to the world of gin, offering a memorable and interactive way to connect with Scotland’s rich distilling heritage.

Scottish Whiskey Tasting Experience.  Discover Scotland’s most iconic spirit.  Perfect for connoisseurs and novices alike.  Explore everything from smooth and mellow bourbons, which are known for their sweet, vanilla, and caramel notes, to bold and smoky scotches, celebrated for their complex peaty flavors and rich history.

Golfing.  As the birthplace of golf, Scotland boasts courses every few miles! The owners of Rachel’s Farm highly recommend Buchanan Castle Golf Club, just a 20-minute drive from the farm, featuring a fantastic 18-hole course. For those looking to dedicate a full day to golf, the team at Rachel’s Farm can arrange tee times at some of the world’s most renowned courses, including Gullane, Troon, and the historic ‘Old Links’ at St Andrews—the oldest golf course in the world. Additionally, you can opt for a golf tour guide who can provide transportation to and from the farm and accompany you on the course, offering insights and guidance throughout the day.

Bike Rental / Bike Tours. Rent a bike, and tour some of the most beautiful parts of Scotland. The rental shop is located on a National Cycle Route, so you can avoid the roads and travel on the safe and scenic track. Ride through the forests and mountains to the shores of nearby beautiful Lochs. (Helmet, etc. included.)

A Day at Loch Ard. Loch Ard is a stunning Loch and forest location in Callander, approximately a 20-minute drive from Rachel’s Farm. The Loch is surrounded by an ancient woodland with several walking routes (all mapped out). There are also multiple access points to the Loch for open water swimming.

Loch Water Sports Center. Select a guided boat tour around the stunning Loch Lomond, or rent a speed boat, pedal boat, row boat, water skis, kayak, or stand-up paddle board.

Day Trip to Stirling City. Spend a day exploring the historic sites of Stirling City, including access to the iconic Wallace Monument, one of Scotland’s most distinctive landmarks. You’ll also enjoy a guided tour of Stirling Castle, a must-visit attraction that offers a fascinating glimpse into Scotland’s rich history with its royal connections and strategic location. After your tours, spend the rest of the day browsing the city’s many shops and restaurants at your leisure.
