Nestled in an olive grove, this artisanal boutique hotel offers luxurious accommodations and immersive activities. We will enjoy exclusive use of the property, take a group excursion to the Atlas Mountains, and enjoy a spa day for ultimate relaxation. Location
Located in a private olive grove about 30 minutes outside of Marrakech, Peacock Pavilions is a unique alternative to a traditional riad. We will have exclusive use of the whole property for our retreat week. The property features a pool, outdoor gym, outdoor cinema, yoga pavilion, terraces, and a special dining tent. Surrounded by hundreds of rose bushes, the Main Pavilion is home to several of the shared spaces, including a main reception area under a domed ceiling with seating and a fireplace, a small library of design books and guide books for guest borrowing, the owners’ curated collection of Moroccan goods for purchase, and an arcaded terrace with tiled tables where breakfasts and lunches are served.

Curated Yoga Classes
Join Savonn and Kari for curated yoga classes, with up to 2 classes a day (morning and late afternoon) offered in a variety of styles, such as Vinyasa Flow, Restorative, and Yin. All classes are optional and will be taught by either Savonn or Kari in a dedicated open air tented yoga space equipped with mats, yoga blocks, bolsters, and straps.

Healthy Gourmet Meals
At Peacock Pavilions, dining is a celebration of Moroccan culture, offering meals made from scratch with local, fresh ingredients. Moroccan cuisine is known for its flavorful and healthy dishes, featuring fresh ingredients like fruits, vegetables, and aromatic spices that are not only delicious but also nutritious. Meals are generally enjoyed by day on the terrace and by night in a special dining tent.

Moroccan Cooking Class. Hands-on approach to learning how to prepare traditional dishes like tagines and Moroccan bread, coupled with a Moroccan Mint Tea experience under the guidance of experienced chefs.
Camel Rides. Adventure to the Agafay Desert where captivating views of the Atlas Mountains provide an idyllic backdrop for an unforgettable excursion, including a camel ride through the desert and community lunch at a local luxury campsite.
Visit the Jardin Majorelle, the Yves Saint Laurent Museum, and the Pierre Bergé Museum of Berber Arts.
Jardin Majorelle is an enchanting garden created by French painter Jacques Majorelle over forty years and features a vibrant array of plants and rare species brought back from his travels.
The Musée Yves Saint Laurent, near Jardin Majorelle, celebrates the work of the legendary fashion designer. This museum is dedicated entirely to Saint Laurent’s work, showcasing a significant part of his collection and legacy to Marrakech, a city that deeply influenced him.
The Pierre Bergé Museum of Berber Arts is located within the same complex. It offers a deep dive into the rich culture and history of the Berbers, Morocco’s oldest inhabitants. The museum displays over 600 objects ranging from textiles to jewelry, highlighting the Berbers’ creativity and cultural pride.
Moroccan Wine Tasting. Learn about and taste Moroccan wines with the owner of the Peacock Pavilions. The Moroccan wine tasting at Peacock Pavilions involves a selection of wines, presented in a casual, educational setting. You will participate in tasting and scoring the wines, complemented by canapés, culminating in the revelation of the most favored wines.
Motorcycle Sidecar Tour of Marrakech. For a unique exploration of Marrakech, consider a sidecar motorcycle tour of 1.5 or 3 hours that accommodates 1-2 people per sidecar. The tours allow you to experience the city’s less frequented neighborhoods, showcasing the vibrant life and hidden gems of Marrakech from a local’s perspective.
Artisan Workshops. Take a woodworking, pottery, or metalwork workshop at Ateliers d’ Ailleurs. These workshops are well-regarded for offering hands-on experience in traditional Moroccan crafts. Participants often appreciate the unique opportunity to learn directly from skilled artisans, gaining insight into the techniques and cultural significance of their crafts.

Group transfer to and from Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK) and/or possibly the Marrakech train station to Peacock Pavilions at the start and end of the retreat. We will communicate group transfer information when we know the travel plans of the attendees. We suggest you plan on arriving for group transport to the retreat center by 4pm on May 10. On departure day, our group transport will be mid-morning.
Pricing and Registration
Peacock Pavilions features three pavilions and two luxury bungalows, as well as lush outdoor areas, each with a unique Moroccan-inspired modern or tribal decor. Offering tranquil suites with twin or double beds, private bathrooms, and rooftop terraces, all rooms are air-conditioned for your comfort. Each pavilion and bungalow has a unique design and includes amenities like fireplaces, terraces, rose gardens, local art, and stylish seating areas.
Price: $2800/per person. $500 non-refundable deposit required to secure spot with balance due on March 15, 2025. Once we receive your deposit, we will follow up within 24 hours to review your lodging preference and confirm other details about the retreat.
Atlas Pavilion: 4 people total in 2 double-occupancy rooms.
Draped in bougainvillea, the Atlas Pavilion is a private 1300-square-foot house. There are 2 double-occupancy rooms here: 2 ensuite bedrooms (option of king or 2 twin beds) equipped with fireplaces and air conditioning/heating.
Medina Pavilion: 6 people total in 3 double-occupancy rooms.
With its own rose garden, the Medina Pavilion is a private 2,400-square-foot house, decorated in modern global style. There are 3 double-occupancy rooms here: 3 ensuite bedrooms (option of king or 2 twin beds) equipped with air conditioning/heating.
Dawn and Dusk Bungalows: 4 people total in 2 separate bungalows.
There is 1 bedroom in each bungalow (option of king or 2 twin beds) with ensuite bathroom and air conditioning/heating.
